The song is also used in the introduction of the 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs game, featuring the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins. An arrangement of the song was performed live during the Top 11 elimination episode of the reality television singing competition program The Voice by Team Gwen (Stefani) members Brennley Brown and Hunter Plake, along with their coach, Stefani, herself, with the episode in question airing on 2 May 2017. In the movie Yesterday, a character says that the Beatles song "Yesterday" isn't quite as good as Coldplay's "Fix You".
